This section will tell you just about everything you need to know to play on KitsuMUCK.

Starting

You can create a character one of two ways, either on the MUCK or by registering on the forums. Choose your name wisely, since that will be the name others will see in game. It can't have spaces, nor can it already be in use by another player. From there, you can edit your character's profile via the editplayer command on the MUCK.

Once you finish with your profile, you can set up your character's sheet for use with the RP system. Once again, you can do that in game by using the commands described in this article. You'll also want to set up notes for your skills for use in combat.

Commands

There are many commands that you can use on the MUCK to perform combat, roll dice, and more. This article will tell you all the commands you need to know. The following is just a summary.

To speak in a room with other people, precede your text with a quotation mark. If you're in an IC area, it is preferred that you use the ooc command. There is also a public channel that everyone on the MUCK can chat on by preceding their text with the command pub.

Moving between rooms is done by simply typing the abbreviation for the appropriate exit you want to take. (e.g, in the case of "[AF] Azure Forest", you would type AF)

Switching between IC and OOC modes is done by typing +ic and +ooc, respectively.
