Abilities

After you set up your attributes, there are three general categories in which you can invest XP. These categories define any abilities that you have that might be supernatural, outside the norm, or above average. It also defines any abilities you'll use to either damage an opponent or defend yourself from being damaged. An ability can be placed into multiple categories, but you must spend XP for its power in each category separately.

Abilities / Skills / Knowledge

This category covers any basic skills or knowledge your character may have. Any defense move or equipment goes here as well. To invest XP in an ability in this category, type +buy [skill]=[xp].

Examples:

  • Cooking -- You're an exceptional cook.
  • Leather Armor -- Generic way of defending an attack.
  • Shintoism -- You are knowledgable in the ways of Shinto.

Spells / Magic

Any spells, elemental masteries, or divine gifts your character has go in this category. To add an ability to this category, type +spell [spell]=[xp].

Examples:

  • Shapeshift Size -- You can change your size.
  • Water -- You can manipulate or genenerate water.
  • Faith Healing -- You can pray to your god that someone gets healed.

Attacks / Techniques

This category will contain any offensive moves your character has. Martial arts moves, weapons, and technologies can go in here. To add to this category, type +tech [technique]=[xp].

Examples:

  • Sharp Claws -- Lash out at someone with a set of sharp claws.
  • Swords Dance -- Fight someone with your swords

Notes

Notes allow you to describe your skills and set their types.

Describing a Skill

To set the description of a skill, type +note/set <note>=<text>. Only a short description is necessary.

Setting a Type

There are five types you can set for your skills. They are as follows: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social, and Defensive. It is highly recommended that you have at least *1* defense type note. This should be found under +buy (skills/abilities/knowledges) as at the time of this writing if it is under spells or techs it does not work properly.

To set the type for your skill, type +note/type <note>=<type>.

Next Steps

After you finish setting up your sheet, you can ask a wizard to validate you. You can either do this on the Public channel or by contacting them directly.
